Airtel 5G Plus: Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of its 5G service on 24 January 2023 in Coimbatore, Madurai, Hosur, Trichy. Its 5G services are already live in Chennai. Airtel 5G Plus services are being made available to customers in a phased manner, as the company is still continuing to build out and roll out its network. Customers with 5G supported devices will be able to enjoy the high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost. Speaking about the launch, CEO of Bharti Airtel, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, said, “I am delighted to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Coimbatore, Madurai, Hosur, Trichy along with Chennai. Airtel customers will now be able to experience the ultrafast network in these five cities.
And will be able to enjoy 20-30 times faster speed than the current 4G speed. We are in the process of rolling out 5G across the city, which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant photo uploading, downloading and much more.”
